About Hadar Dor

For more than 20 years, Hadar Dor has been designing impressive, elegant and warm homes — homes with a distinctive design presence that look beautiful and truly suit the people who live in them.

One of the defining strengths of Hadar’s work is her ability to see the full potential of a home and bring it to life through thoughtful planning. Rather than treating the existing layout as a given, she re-examines the space, its proportions and the way the different areas connect, in order to find the planning solution that makes the most of the home.

Her professional experience and design vision allow her to bring planning and design together into one cohesive whole. The result is a home that looks impressive in photographs, but just as importantly, feels right, comfortable and enjoyable in everyday life.

Working with Hadar is characterized by a high level of personal involvement, responsiveness and close communication with clients. Her extensive experience and warm, attentive approach help her understand what truly matters to each family and translate their lifestyle, habits and personal taste into the right planning and design decisions.

Dordesign, the Ra’anana-based interior design studio founded and led by Hadar, provides the professional structure that supports each project from planning through execution. The studio team assists with detailed plans, work with suppliers and trades, and the practical processes required to translate the design vision into a clear and well-organized project.

The studio team also includes Daniel Gal Dor, a certified Practical Engineer in Architecture. Her professional training adds another layer of technical and planning knowledge to the studio, including an understanding of building regulations, standards, planning constraints and technical considerations that need to be addressed from the early stages. This helps the studio develop interior design solutions that are aesthetically strong, professionally sound and practical to execute.

Design Styles

Hadar Dor works primarily in three design languages:

Modern design — clean lines, thoughtful functionality and understated elegance.

Light rustic design — warm materials, soft textures and a relaxed, natural atmosphere.

Modern classic design — refined proportions, balanced composition and timeless detailing.

Our Design Philosophy

At Dordesign, interior design is not about style alone. A successful home begins with understanding how the people who live in it actually live — how they move through the space, spend time together, host, work and relax.

That understanding is translated into thoughtful planning, materials and a cohesive design language, with the goal of creating a home that has presence and character while remaining comfortable, practical and enjoyable for everyday life.

For projects that require architectural services, structural changes, permits or specialist professional input, Dordesign works in collaboration with architects, engineers, consultants and other relevant professionals, while leading the interior design process.

Hadar personally leads the client relationship, the design direction and the key decisions throughout the project, with the studio team supporting the detailed planning and professional implementation process.

Our Approach

Dordesign specializes primarily in residential interior design, including private homes, apartments and penthouses.

Each project follows a structured planning and design process that may include concept development, 3D visualizations, detailed plans, a Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material and product selections, and professional guidance during execution.

DesignFlow® by Hadar Dor

DesignFlow® is Dordesign’s structured working process, developed and refined through more than 20 years of professional experience.

It brings together the main stages of an interior design project — from understanding the clients’ needs and developing the concept, through 3D visualization, detailed planning and budgeting, to professional guidance during execution.

The process is designed to help important decisions be made at the right stage, create greater clarity before construction begins, and provide an organized framework for moving from the initial idea to the completed home.

BOQ — Bill of Quantities

A detailed Bill of Quantities is an important part of the planning process for renovation projects.

It helps define the scope of work before execution begins, including areas such as demolition, construction, electrical work, plumbing, drywall, painting and finishes, together with the main products, materials and fixtures required for the project.

The BOQ enables clients to obtain realistic quotations, establish priorities and plan the overall project budget before construction begins — reducing uncertainty and helping major decisions be made in advance.
